Product Information

Fybogel Mebeverine is a fruit-flavored granule medication that contains the active ingredients psyllium husks and Mebevrine. Psyllium husks are a kind of plant-based fibre. They’re used to address the issue of constipation, and support people in maintaining normal bowel function when they suffer from various bowel disorders.   When it comes into contact with fluid in the gut, Fybogel Mebeverine swells, which helps to increase the volume of faeces. The medication is not absorbed fully into the body. Increased volume in the bowel can help to stimulate the muscles of the intestines, which encourages them to move waste along and relieve constipation. However, it can take a while of taking this mediation before you will begin to notice any results.   While the plant fibers in this substance increase the bulk of your waste, the Mebeverine is suitable for relaxing the muscles and walls of the intestines. This means that you won’t get the cramps associated with constipation. You may also find that the antispasmodic medication in Fybogel Mebeverine helps to reduce symptoms like wind and bloating, as well as diarrhea that alternates with periods of constipation. 

How To Use
  • Open the sachet and pour the contents into a glass.
  • Add about 150ml (a quarter pint) of cold water.
  • Stir well until the mixture forms a uniform suspension.
  • Drink immediately after preparation.

Take Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, preferably after meals.

Continue taking Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets for as long as your doctor recommends. The duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of your symptoms and your response to the medication.

Other Ingredients: Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets also contain aspartame, citric acid, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 80, and orange flavouring. These ingredients help improve the taste and stability of the medication.
